Fundraising Growth Creative Ministry

Executing a $12M capital campaign and increasing weekend attendance up to 28% — with a volunteer team that saved $1M/year.

River Pointe was an 8,000-member multi-campus church running a multi-million-dollar operating budget. Taylor led communications, creative, and media across three locations — executing a capital campaign, driving double-digit attendance growth through digital advertising, and building a broadcast-grade volunteer media team from scratch.

Seasonal Campaigns · Easter

Two Easters. Two moments. Two campaigns.

Easter is the biggest front-door Sunday of the year for any church — the day attendance doubles and the only day most of the community thinks to visit. These two billboard campaigns anchored the West End (WE) and River Pointe (RPC) outreach in consecutive years.

Easter 2019 billboard — neon yellow with a Peeps chick: “Easter is on a Sunday this year. Bring your peeps. April 21.”
Easter 2019 “Bring your peeps.” · WE Church · April 21 A Peeps pun, a neon yellow no one was using, and a headline that did the work: Easter is on a Sunday this year.
Easter 2020 billboard — pink with bold white type: “We could all use some good news. Join us for Easter. April 10·11·12.”
Easter 2020 “We could all use some good news.” · RPC + WE · April 10·11·12 Written and approved in early 2020. Ran through the first weeks of the pandemic — and never read quite the same way again.
“Taylor is one of the most talented and gifted people I’ve ever met. He made a huge difference at RPC. He made us better — and we still benefit from his contributions and hard work.”
Patrick Kelly · Senior Pastor, River Pointe Church

Voices · Staff, Vendors & Volunteers

What the team said.

“In a time when churches are in steady decline, Taylor drove 20% overall growth in 2019 and grew our digital engagement by 1,200 people in just eight months. He’s a driver and a leader — and 80 volunteers, 25 contract musicians, and a direct staff of 8 loved working for him.”

Hannah Pickrell · Executive Assistant / Project Manager, RPC

“Taylor creates engagement with the right audience, with the right message, at the right time. He is steadfastly data-driven and understands ‘metrics that matter’ — and unlocks disproportionate value and return on investment.”

Matt Engel · Executive Director of Ministry Innovation, Gloo

“Taylor effortlessly connects data and information directly into a communication strategy that inspires and motivates a congregation to engage in the mission and vision of the church. Any organization that engages him will be better for it.”

Jon Wright · Executive Pastor Strategist, Generis

“I’ve worked with many people since 1995. Taylor is by far at the top of the list in terms of professionalism. Calm under pressure. Time and time again, I watched him lead his team calmly and adeptly through situations that could have spiraled out of control.”

Steve Blase · Media Team Volunteer, RPC

“Taylor doesn’t settle for average. He never takes the easy way out. He gives his all to everything he takes on. As my mentor, he went above and beyond to invest in my professional development — and made a place on the team for a special-needs volunteer who needed somewhere to belong.”

Andreah Frament · Direct Report, RPC

“Taylor brings a combination of diverse knowledge in communications and hands-on multimedia experience. Simply put, he makes things better — and my skill-set greatly increased under his leadership. Admired and respected by every team member.”
