XTECH

Energy Technology · Skunkworks Startup · Wyoming

Fundraising Creative

Taking a skunkworks energy startup from zero brand to $3.5M raised — during a pandemic.

XTECH had a patented downhole energy technology and a credible founder, but no brand, no investor materials, and no market presence. Taylor built the identity from scratch, directed a flagship video on location in Wyoming via private jet during COVID, and delivered the complete investor asset suite that drove a $3.5M raise from family offices and HNW investors.

This engagement was performed under NDA. The full investor pitch PDF and complete overview video cannot be shown. What you see here — the teaser, the brand system, and the result — represents what we’re able to share.

The Asset Suite

Three deliverables — one raise.

A ground-up brand identity, an investor video shot on location in Wyoming, and a portrait pitch PDF built for warm intros. Every asset is under NDA — what’s shown below is what we’re permitted to share.

The Brand Film

A teaser cut from the locked overview — Wyoming, 2020.

A chartered jet, a skeleton crew, and a downhole technology that needed to look investable on a laptop screen. The full investor overview is under NDA. The teaser below — and a few stills from the locked cut — are what we’re able to share.

The Rebrand

A full identity system — built from zero in a category that doesn’t reward soft branding.

Energy tech investors don’t respond to whimsy. The XTech mark borrows from oilfield stencils and engineering schematics — structural, exact, and built to read at any scale, from a hard hat sticker to a full-page investor one-sheet.
